The GEO loop: from a score to the next useful action
Measure, understand, decide, act, verify and learn: a practical approach to AI visibility that keeps scores and outcomes distinct.
A score gives you a reference point. It does not choose your next action. A brand needs to understand what AI answers show, choose a justified correction and verify what happens afterwards.
Six stages, one decision at a time
Measure. Keep the questions, language, market, actual engines, answers and observation dates. A missing answer remains missing data.
Understand. Connect the diagnosis to evidence. A brand’s absence from an answer does not, by itself, explain why it was absent. A possible cause remains a hypothesis until supported.
Decide. Choose a specific action with a target, owner, estimated effort and rationale. When evidence does not justify a change, the useful next step may be further verification.
Act. Prepare and approve the correction, preserve its version and record publication. A checked-off task does not prove that the intended change is live.
Verify. Check publication, then compare new observations with a compatible protocol. Questions, engines, scope and methods must support the comparison.
Learn. Keep the result and its limitations. An increase is a finding to confirm. Unchanged or negative results should also influence the next decision.
A published correction is not a measured improvement
These are separate outcomes. The first establishes that the action was carried out. The second describes an observed change after the action. Even with comparable measurements, a Vix increase alone does not establish causation: other changes may have occurred.
Vix keeps its place
Vix provides a readable reference point out of 100. In a demo, it summarizes the usable answers in the sample, alongside coverage. It is not a performance promise. The diagnosis, next useful action and follow-up evidence provide its context.
A monthly brief that helps you decide
A useful brief answers three questions: what is my next priority, what do tracked corrections show, and where does my visibility stand? Detailed answers and evidence remain available in the workspace. The email helps you choose the next step.

Stable questions make the loop useful
Tracking starts with customer questions defined by their need, brand or location, market and language. Capacity is shared across the account. The new pilot offer includes weekly ChatGPT and Perplexity measurements, with two fresh answers per engine; the initial diagnosis and monthly review help choose what comes next. Options are configured in the signed-in workspace.
